Scarcely had Donald Trump been declared the winner of the presidential election and the markets had already surged -- and not just the stock market. Across all business sectors, the numbers were up, promising a solid four years of financial growth in America. Donald Trump certainly is the candidate of MAPA -- Make America Prosperous Again. If we want America to stay free for decades to come, it's not the political world that matters most, but rather the spiritual world. And that's not just good news for Trump. That's good news for all Americans who've watched with rising alarm the absolute detestable way our justice and intel systems have been weaponized by Democrats against their political opponents. America needs a great awakening -- a spiritual revival to right the course away from God and back to godly governance. Some church leaders even say we're in the midst of a great awakening. Are we? That may be a point to debate, but what's irrefutable is that the Founders warned us that the Republic they gave us would only last so long as the people of the nation were moral and virtuous -- and that where secularism grows, so, too, tyranny. This is the dark path America has been walking for some time. America sees hundreds of thousands of abortions performed each year, and this is a tragedy. And some of those women, no doubt, would not want to have their abortions if only the men in their lives stepped up and made the right remarks at the right time and in the right tone -- in other words, if the men in their lives vowed to be there for them throughout the life of the child. But as Roland Warren says, men have been told for too long now that a woman's right to choose an abortion is none of their business. So the sad and sorry situation has become: abortion is a woman's issue. But truly, it's not. It's actually a religious issue and a matter for the church and a matter for the family. If we want fewer abortions, we need to press forward the idea that women are not alone in their decisions on whether or not to birth their children. And men need to do better jobs of stepping up and assuming their responsibilities.

Americans are growing weary of all the lies of the left, and it's having a dramatic effect on the level of trust placed in our systems. This suspicious nature is actually a good thing, though, because it means Americans are awakening to their foundational principles, which are rooted in the concept of trust, but verify -- and then demand accountability. If only the news media weren't so filled with open liars and Marxists, though. One of the questions that persists among Christians is whether or not they should run for political office. And to that -- a resounding yes.
