In this morning's 2021 T20 World Cup Australia blitzed bangladesh, winning out comfortably. This leaves the Australians in prime position to qualify for the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. It also means that Bangladesh lose 5 out of 5, which is sad. India v Aghanistan if the big game today, at the T20 World Cup. India need a convincing win to rebalance their Net Run Rate and give themselves a chance of qualification. A win for Afghanistan will eliminate India from the T20 World Cup, and leave them on the brink of qualification. The Cricket Podcast discuss this, and the earlier game, bring reaction and analysis to the tournament.   In the end India crushed Afghanistan, winning by so far I wrote this with over 10 overs to spare.  Earlier in the day New Zealand completed a reasonably comfortable win over Scotland, thought they will have hoped for more. South Africa and Bangladesh are in action in Group 1 of the 2021 T20 World Cup. South Africa have a serious chance to qualify for the next round, and have reinforced that position by beating Bangladesh. The Tigers, meanwhile, were playing for pride and are yet to win in the Super Twelves. England took on, and beat Sri Lanka, in their fourth game of the 2021 T20 World Cup. Jos Buttler smashed a ton, as he batted through the innings in fine style, destroying the Sri Lankan bowlers at the death. India v New Zealand is the headline match on Sunday, as the T20 World Cup heads towards the conclusion of the Super 12 stage.
