In 2016, she created the first all-inclusive business resource group at Mercedes-Benz USA to connect leaders and professionals with each other for growth and development. She continued to expand on this work and created her second dream job with the launch of Connect with Michelle Enjoli. She has developed a curriculum focused on networking, personal branding and self-esteem that helps professionals and leaders learn how to connect for professional growth. Michelle has an idea worth sharing and will become a speaker at Southampton, England's inaugural TEDx event this year. Her journey and work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Entrepreneur, Forbes, glassdoor and Telemundo among other news outlets. She is featured in the book called “Hispanic Stars Rising. Video Overview: "Are there fewer women in management because we can’t discern between confidence and competence? The popular explanations range from women just aren’t capable of being leaders to women just don’t want to be leaders. According to author Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic however, the absence of women in leadership roles has less to do with women themselves and more to do with how we interpret leadership traits. Confidence – a trait more associated with men – is often misinterpreted as competence. As a result, charismatic, but incompetent men have fewer barriers to reach the top than women. Individuals in positions to promote and hire managers should think more critically about what seems like a leadership trait versus what is an actual leadership trait. They will find that arrogance and overconfidence – the characteristics that get men into management positions – are also the characteristics that cause poor performance."

Dr. Hardt (https://www.linkedin.com/in/james-hardt/) is a celebrated research scientist with an established history of over 40 years in the study and research of biofeedback. Hardt has authored or co-authored countless scientific research papers on the subject and he currently has more than 30 patents for the core technology, headset, training methodology and brain-centered portion of various virtual reality applications. His findings have been published in numerous scholarly journals such as Science, Psychophysiology, and the Journal of Experimental Psychology, just to name a few. Dr. Hardt has also spoken in front of the United Nations. Dr. Hardt received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Carnegie Institute of Technology, as well as a master’s degree, and Ph.D., in psychology from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Dr. Erin Eatough is researcher, author, speaker, and consultant and serves BetterUp as Manager, Behavioral Science. She is the researcher and author behind BetterUp’s Research & Insights blog column and speaks regularly about the science behind human thriving at both academic and industry events. Erin received her PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida. Before BetterUp, Erin was a professor. With over 30 articles and book contributions, she actively publishes research on the intersection of work and well-being which has been featured in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and Journal of Organizational Behavior, and cited in media outlets such as Harvard Business Review. Erin is the recipient of several awards for her scientific works including authoring the top research paper of the year by the National Communication Association and Outstanding Author Contribution by Emerald Publishing. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and two young children. When not working on research, you can find her and her family on adventures in their converted Sprinter van.
