Dr Dias and his coauthors provide an antidote to the barriers that make it difficult to apply clinical practice guidelines to patients. “There are many inconsistencies in the examination and treatment…[for patients with] heart failure, [and] so often physical therapists have developed their own biases…based on their years of clinical experience,” which present challenges to changing practice based on new evidence.
