Let's just be up front, the Vivenna chapters are a huge downer. Like, geeze, Brandon, could you be any meaner? Anyone who's read Stormlight knows that, yes, he probably could, but that's beside the point. Things take a turn for her, however. Meanwhile Lightsong is being proactive in his attempts to not have to do work. How's that going to work out for him, do you think? A turn I've been waiting for since the beginning of the book happens in these chapters. The crew isn't terribly surprised, but Vivenna is shocked. This opens the door to some interesting predigments and some serious hatred for certain characters (and maybe not always the ones you'd expect) on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

Some cool backstory and an appearance by the infamous Sexy Drifter himself this week. Beyond that, though, there's some impatience among the crew to see some more Vasher and find out what that guy is up to. Our podcast crew is still antsy for some action, but they're going to have to settle for information. Some very interesting factoids coming out of a conversation between Siri and Lightsong, but the really juicy tidbits are from a brief glimpse of Vasher and Nightblood. Siri and the God King make some progress on his learning, while Vivenna and co. continue to make progress in their own way.
