Gene Siskel passed away shortly before this episode and never got to see the film. Two additional Stanley Kubrick films are highlighted in the 'home video' highlights section at the end of the episode: the incredible 'Paths of Glory' from 1957 starring Kirk Douglas and 'Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb' from 1964.
