The Dice Man: Episode 399
Somebody was writing to Flight Attendants at Gatwick Airport. Horrible, threatening notes asking for pornographic pictures and threatening violence if the demands weren't met, based on the throw of a dice. "There are six forfeits ranging from minor to very painful... Number six is an attack with an acid bomb, although there are lots of nasty things from number three onwards." A Brutally Violent Attack: Episode 398
On this podcast I usually try to avoid the worst violence as I focus on the story. But there are some cases like this one from the north-east of England where Mark Shaw was so brutally attacked that the details of the violence are necessary to the story. Mark was killed by those close to him leaving his friends and family shocked and unable to quite comprehend just what had happened to Mark.Find out more about the UK True Crime Podcast:https://uktruecrime.comJoin me at Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/UKTrueCrimeJoin me in Sheffield on 7 Septemberhttps://armchairdetectiveswanted.com/eventsJoin the UK True Crime Facebook Group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/UKTrueCrimeBuy my book 'Gone Fishing' about serial killer Angus Sinclair:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gone-Fishing-Unsolved-Crimes-Sinclair/dp/1914277201 Hosted on Acast.
