This week, I sat down with Grace, host of the excellent REDRUM podcast, as we looked at the dreadful murder of Sasha Marsden, who was just 16 when she was stabbed to death by David Minto, the caretaker of a hotel in Blackpool.Sasha thought she had secured a cleaning job but Minto attacked Sasha and stabbed her more than 100 times before sexually assaulting her and dumping and setting fire to Sasha's body outside.REDRUM True Crime PodcastREDRUM is a podcast focusing on the true victims of crime. When Rebecca Aylward went to secondary school near her home in Maesteg, South Wales, she met Joshua Davies and the pair quickly hit it off and became firm friends. Rebecca and Joshua were both academic, worked hard and were soon top of the class in their results. Soon the pair began to date, but then there were concerns about Joshua's behaviour. Everyone like John Hirst. So much so he was even known at his home in Majorca as 'Nice John'. Paul and Paula Ramsden drove the hour or so south to Beachy Head for a picnic, which they enjoyed just feet from the cliff edge. Just before 5pm, they decided to head back to the car.
