Sheila Ngoc Pham is a writer, editor and producer working across radio, print, online and screen. She regularly writes for literary and mainstream publications, and collaborates closely with cultural and art institutions. She is Contributing Editor (Australia) for diaCRITICS, the online journal for the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network, and recently co-edited Kill Your Darlings' Vietnam Showcase. Sheila has held digital and editorial roles at the ABC and continues to produce radio documentaries and stories for ABC Radio National. She co-produced 'Tongue Tied and Fluent', a five-part series exploring multilingualism in Australia, which won an ABU-UNESCO Together for Peace Media Award 2021.Her previous radio features include The Lost Cinema of Tan Hiep and Saigon's Wartime Beat. Sheila is undertaking a PhD at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation and casually lectures in public health ethics at Macquarie University. Quyen Ngo is an actor, narrator, facilitator, and organizer based in Los Angeles. She began acting in middle school and continued training through college at Brown University. She is the narrator of The Mountains Sing by Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai, which was nominated for the Audie award for Audiobook of the Year, as well as Eric Nguyen’s Things We Lost to the Water and Violet Kupersmith’s Build Your House Around My Body.
Over the past 15 years, she has worked with groups around the world to build capacity, strategize, and improve communication. Her training and facilitation work aims to help people to work together harmoniously. Her acting work focuses on increasing nuance in a world deprived of it.

Born and raised in California, Daniel returned to Việt Nam working with Oxfam America, the American Wetlands Foundation, and the Việt Nam Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on sustainable Mekong Delta development, focusing on agricultural supply chains.
He transitioned to working on forest land allocation policy in the Central and Northern Highlands among minority highland communities, particularly with Red Dao, H’mong, Nung, H’re communities.
During his time there, he participated deeply in everyday life in remote villages, foraging and documenting native botanicals, eating local foods, drinking local spirits.
His work focused on terroir, botany, spiritual animism, and local culture, deepening his connection and knowledge of these regions.
He started Sông Cái Distillery in 2018 as a transition from policy and community work to build an economic model and brand that uplifts the story of Vietnam (the people, place, culture, and biodiversity) through craft spirits and beverages.

A federal bank examiner gone astray, Andrea Nguyen is living out her dream of writing impactful books, telling stories through food, and teaching others how to cook well. Named one the 100 Greatest Home Cooks of All Time by Epicurious, she has written six acclaimed cookbooks that have garnered multiple award nominations.
In 2018, Andrea’s The Pho Cookbook received a prestigious James Beard Foundation Award and Unforgettable, the biography cookbook about Paula Wolfert that she edited, won a 2018 International Association of Culinary Professionals award. Her sixth cookbook, Vietnamese Food Any Day, was spotlighted by the New York Times, Bon Appetit, Eater and many others as one of the best cookbooks of 2019.
A new Vietnamese cookbook will be released in 2023. Andrea’s work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Bon Appetit, EatingWell, Lucky Peach and Better Homes and Gardens. She serves as a contributing editor of Food and Wine and vice chair of the advisory board of the Southern Foodways Alliance.
The History Channel’s Families that Fed America featured her in a pilot episode. She is a regular guest on the Splendid Table, Milk Street Radio, among other podcast and radio programs.
She publishes Vietworldkitchen.com, a major hub for Asian cooking, and maintains a robust social media presence.

Paul Nguyen, is a Canadian filmmaker and social activist. Nguyen was born in Toronto, Ontario to Vietnamese parents who fled to Canada after the fall of Saigon during The Vietnam War. After graduating from C.W. Jefferys Collegiate Institute, he attended York University and earned his Bachelor of Arts in film in 2004. Nguyen grew up in the Jane and Finch neighborhood.
In 2004, Nguyen created Jane-Finch.com to address the constant negative media coverage about his community. Nguyen launched Jane-Finch.com on March 13, 2004, in response to negative stereotypes about the Jane and Finch community. The website gives an unprecedented look at the neighborhood and features a multimedia library of information.
In late 2005, a community news section was added to allow reporters to document local events not covered by the mainstream media. The website produces music videos, public service announcements, and broadcasts local political debates and town halls. In addition to the production of original content, the website also publishes submissions from residents.
In 2012, he was among the first 60 Canadians to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal at the inaugural presentation ceremony at Rideau Hall to honor significant contributions and achievements to the country. Citizenship and Immigration Canada featured Nguyen on the list of Noteworthy Canadians of Asian Origin to highlight valuable contributions made by Canadians of Asian heritage.

Cuộc sống của trên đường phố khiến anh tiếp xúc với ma túy, nguy hiểm và bạo lực, và sống ở khu nghèo khó thủ đô của đất nước. May mắn anh gặp được người sáng lập Blue Dragon và bắt đầu học tiếng anh và các lớp học miễn phí, Từng làm trong nhà hàng, khách sạn hàng đầu tại Hà Nội. Sau 6 năm anh quay trở lại Blue Dragon để giúp đỡ những đứa trẻ có những hoàn cảnh khó khăn trong cuộc sống mà anh đã từng.
Ngày nay, Vị quản lý chương trình với hơn 35 nhân viên và bao gồm 2 ngôi nhà cho trẻ em nam gặp khủng hoảng, một đội ngũ tìm kiếm trẻ em lang thang, nhân viên xã hội, và khu nhà mở cho trẻ đường phố.
