Nhan Nguyen has an M.S. in Forensic Studies from Stevenson University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineer from California State University, Long Beach. Nhan has over 10 years of experience in Electrical Design Engineering and over 18 years of Digital Forensics experience with an extensive background in the field of digital forensics. Nhan works for the DOJ/FBI as a Master Digital Forensic Examiner (MDFE) / Technical Officer / Operations Manager. As an MDFE, he has conducted hundreds of extensive digital forensic examinations, peer reviews, technical reviews, administrative reviews and case assignments. He has also been involved in training and mentoring numerous digital forensic examiners (Federal, State, and Local) in computer, mobile, and DVR forensics, tool testing and validation, software updates, and budgetary recommendations. Nhan has multiple certifications such as Master Digital Forensic Examiner, Senior Digital Computer Examiner, Senior Mobile Device Examiner, JTAG/ISP/Chip-off Examiner, Forensic Audio/Video Examiner and Digital Video Recorder Examiner, and certified BlackLight Examiner. Dr Indigo Willing (she/her) is a sociologist, research consultant and community volunteer. She currently lives in Meanjin on the land of the Jagera and Turrbal Peoples. Her theoretical and empirical work examines issues of power, social change and representation.Her research and community work creates bridges between academia and community sectors, and spans a number of social worlds that reflect her own diverse background and lived experiences as a Vietnam War orphan and adoptee, an Asian Australian creative, academic and skateboarder involved with inclusive community building projects. This includes establishing the Adopted Vietnamese International (AVI) network, co-founding Consent is Rad and We Skate QLD, and the Asian Australian Films, Forum, and News Network.Indigo’s former post-nominal OAM was for being awarded a Medal in the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2006 for her volunteering with adopted Vietnamese children from the war/refugee generation and founding the Adopted Vietnamese International (AVI) community. Lan Duong is Associate Professor in Cinema & Media Studies at the University of Southern California. She is the author of Treacherous Subjects: Gender, Culture, and Trans-Vietnamese Feminism (Temple University Press, 2012). Dr. Duong’s second book project, Transnational Vietnamese Cinemas and the Archives of Memory, examines Vietnamese cinema from its inception to the present day.Her research interests include feminist film theory, postcolonial literature, and Asian/American film and literature. Duong’s critical works can be found in Signs, MELUS, Journal of Southeast Asian Studies, Journal of Asian American Studies, Inter-Asia Cultural Studies, Amerasia, Asian Cinema, Discourse, Velvet Light Trap, and the anthologies, Transnational Feminism in Film and Media, Southeast Asian Cinema, Recollecting Vietnam, and Gendering the Transpacific. She has coedited an award-winning anthology called Southeast Asian Women in the Diaspora: Troubling Borders in Literature and Art (University of Washington Press, 2013). Duong is a Founding Member of the Critical Refugee Studies Collective.
