Thomas helped create the co-branded USA Today/SB Nation Consensus MMA Rankings. His written work has appeared in the Washington Post, Salon, ESPN and dozens of newspapers across the country.

UFC 251 Post-Fight Special
In the main event, Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman fought for the welterweight crown where Usman won via unanimous decision. In the co-main event, Alexander Volkanosvki defeated former champion Max Holloway via split decision to retain his title. In the feature bout, Petr Yan defeated Jose Aldo via fifth-round TKO to claim the bantamweight title. Elsewhere on the pay-per-view main card is a strawweight battle between former champions Rose Namajunas defeated Jessica Andrade via split decision and at flyweight Amanda Ribas submitted Paige VanZant via first round armbar.
On the preliminary card, Jiri Prochazka defeated Volkan Oezdimir via second-round KO, Muslim Salikhov defeated Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, Makwan Amirkhani choked out Danny Henry, Leonardo Santos defeated Roman Bogatov and much more.

UFC 250 Post-Fight Special
In the main event between Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer, Nunes outclassed her opponent en route to an easy decision victory. In the co-main event featuring a bantamweight clash between Cody Garbrandt and Raphael Assuncao, the former champion looked measured and smart until he scored a vicious walkoff KO at the buzzer of round 2. The feature fight between Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen didn't last long as Sterling scored a dominant and early first-round rear naked choke submission victory. Elsewhere on the main card, Neil Magny scored a workmanlike decision over Anthony Rocco Martin and Sean O'Malley scored a first-round one-punch walkoff knockout (KO) over longtime veteran Eddie Wineland.
On the preliminary portion of the card, Alex Caceres outclassed Chase Hooper, Ian Heinisch quickly dispatched Gerald Meerschart, Cody Stamann scored a hard-fought decision victory over Brian Kelleher, Herbert Burns quickly submitted Evan Dunham, Maki Pitolo TKO'd Charles Byrd and much more.
