UFC 248 Results: Israel Adesanya vs. Yoel Romero | Post-Fight Special
At UFC 248, in the main event Israel Adesanya defeated Yoel Romero via unanimous decision in an unusually slow fight. In the co-main event, Zhang Weili defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk via split decision to retain her strawweight title. The bout could serve as the greatest women's fight in UFC history. Elsewhere, Beneil Dariush viciously knocked out Drakkar Klose and Neil Magny outclassed Li Jiangliang. To open the main card, Alex Oliveira scored a split decision victory over Max Griffin in a bloody war.
On the preliminary card, Sean O'Malley got back to action after a two-year layoff, Mark O. Madsen scored a unanimous decision victory, Rodolfo Vieira secured a first-round submission victory, Gerald Meerschart upset Deron Winn and more. I'll go over all of the fight card's results and provide reactions, analysis and answers to your questions.
