The BeatiDudes are on location at the DCYC and proudly welcome Mari Pablo, the second female guest to the show. Mari provides the Dudes with insight about her keynote talk on the Eucharist and delivers a message that is both simple and profound as she reminds us that knowing Jesus is the most important step to living out our faith daily. Mari Pablo grew up in a devout, always supportive, boisterous Hispanic family in South Florida. She graduated from Franciscan University with a double major in theology and psychology and holds a Master of Theology from the Augustine Institute. She has worked in youth ministry for over 15 years, including as a youth minister in New Orleans and a high school theology teacher in Miami. She is currently serving parishes and universities across the country with The Evangelical Catholic.Mari is a presenter for Ascension Press in numerous projects, including the YOU-Theology of the Body program for teens, The 99- An evangelization mission series, Connected- Catholic Social Teaching for this generation, Bible Timeline, Chosen- Confirmation and Ascension presents. Mari is well known for her dynamic presentations at the annual Steubenville Youth Conferences, NCYC, NET, Life Teen events, FOCUS conference, diocesan events, and more. The end of Season Two of The BeatiDudes is here, and we are serving up a special double-header for your double pleasure. This is the longest episode in history…. This episode is actually two different recording sessions spliced together to form a finale worthy of serving as the exclamation mark to Season Two. Yes, thanks to pioneers like Ali Hoffman, there are, in fact, women guests on The BeatiDudes. By invitation from the Diocese of Dallas, The BeatiDudes brought the Tiny Table to the 2024 Dallas Catholic Youth Conference to interview the keynote speakers, including Ali, along with many conference attendees.Ali Hoffman has a passion for Jesus, the Catholic Church, her family, donuts, and Chipotle, in that order. She served with NET Ministries after graduating from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a degree in Catholic Studies and Family Studies. Later she moved back home to Texas, where she was the co-youth coordinator at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Carrollton, Texas, for 6 years.She now travels the globe full-time, preaching the Gospel and making disciples.During the show, Ali shares her love for Jesus and provides a sneak peek into the talks she was preparing to give to almost 1500 conference attendees. As John Michael and his wife journeyed through their second pregnancy, they learned that their son would be born with Down Syndrome. Instead of running from this challenging circumstance, the Lucido family fully embraced God’s perfect gift to the world by naming their son Judah, which in Hebrew means “Praise be to God.” John Michael is a regional director at FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students), where he and his wife serve the Lord by accompanying others, including fellow missionaries. John Michael Lucido is a regional director at FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students), where he and his wife serve the Lord by accompanying others, including fellow missionaries. John Michael shares how he tried to find acceptance in the wrong places as he started college and soon had to take a step back to reset his priorities and put God back at the forefront.
