Fr. Kevin Kolker, the youngest of four siblings, including The BeatiDude's very own Paul Kolker, serves as the Parochial Vicar at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. This episode covers the arch of Fr. Kevin’s life journey to the priesthood. Fr. Kevin grew up in Coppell, Texas, and attended St. Ann Catholic Parish. He went to school at St. Luke in Irving before entering high school at Jesuit Dallas, where he learned about being a man for others and doing all things for the great glory of God. He attended Texas A&M University, where he received degrees in both Mathematics and Philosophy before a short stint in corporate America. Despite his efforts to run from the Lord’s call, Fr. Kevin came to understand that God wanted him to be a diocesan priest. He then completed his philosophy studies at Holy Trinity Seminary in Dallas before going to Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans to study theology from 2018-2023. Fr. Kevin was ordained a priest on May 20th, 2023, alongside 7 other men in the Diocese of Dallas.
