"I realized just how systemic ableism was in our special ed system. And it was really disheartening, really seeing just how drastically different my students were treated, how I was treated, how how I didn't get the same curriculum to provide them as their non-disabled peers. "I pivoted from trauma therapy into supporting a lot of neurodiverse folks and families.
