Entrepreneur turned investor, Scott Thompson grew up in Pennsylvania and identified as a 'pusher' from an early age. He pushed himself to become an Eagle scout by the age of 14 and All-state Wrestler by 17. Scott aspired to pursue his MBA at Stanford, but ultimately found more value in another type of education: sales training. Through his salesmanship and pushing drive, Scott started a staffing company that he quickly grew to over 8,000 staffed employees. She found cycling in law school and it became her passion; so much so that she spent time as a professional cyclist and then started her own law practice representing injured cyclists. Megan was fueled by her passion, until the exposure to crash scenes, injuries, and death took its toll psychologically. We talk with Megan about secondary trauma and how many professionals like journalists, attorneys, and first responders experience it in their line of work, yet receive little training on how to deal with witnessing that trauma. As Driven individuals, we can relate to Megan's feelings of angst and appreciate that discomfort as a signal: it's time to grow.

As the manager of a team of 45 employees, Trey shares how he had to learn to transition from the in-your-face, masculine leadership of college football to leading a staff of primarily women.
