Since bringing home Jules Augustus Robertson, their family has experienced the joys and challenges of adoption, including overcoming sensory issues and questions about race. Through it all, the Robertsons have found strength in their faith. By the time she was 21, Riley realized she’d been attaching her self-worth to the success or failure of every song, and it was exhausting. Facing burnout, Riley made the decision to step away from her career to reconnect with her faith and identity God. Though "Jazz Cow" is not a Christian show, it has many Christians on the project, and speaks to things inherent to the experience of God's creation, encouraging us to go against the algorithm of life brought on by "technocratic leaders".
