The Curve
The Curve Platform
The Curve is a platform to learn more about money. To change the stereotype that these conversations are typically boring, and only for men in suits. Victoria has worked in the finance and investing world for 13 years, and Sophie is a total novice. Learn alongside her as she asks all the questions you're thinking, but might feel a little embarrassed to ask. This podcast will give you all the tools and knowledge to achieve financial freedom, as well as (hopefully) having a laugh along the way.

TCW11: The economy might be up shit creek but it's not all bad...
You may have been wondering how far up shit creek we are in terms of the overall global economy... especially after the two major bank meltdowns last week. TCW10: A BIG week for the banks. Is your money safe?
Over the weekend a big bank in the US (SVB - Silicon Valley Bank) fell over, which hasn't happened since the Great Financial Crisis. Questions have been swirling about what this means for the global economy... and rightfully so, people have been panicking. However, it's not as scary when you understand the context. RTC56: Why does the gender pay gap exist and how can we change it?
In this International Women's Day Special, we were lucky enough to speak to the CEO of Spark Jolie Hodson. Wild fact - Spark is the only company in the NZX50 (the NZ stock exchange) that has a female CEO and Chairwomen. When Vic was looking through their financials, she noticed them transparently call out their gender pay gap and how much it has improved over the past few years. We were so impressed they were publicly disclosing this information and thought she'd be a perfect person to talk to about the gender pay gap, and what can be done to close it! An inspiring woman, with pearls of wisdom for anyone wanting to succeed in the workplace. For more from The Curve:InstagramWebsiteTikTokNewsletter
