In 2020, Gabe Rench was arrested for refusing to wear a mask at an outdoor Psalm-singing event in Moscow, Idaho. Rench was acquitted in his criminal case shortly thereafter, and Rench sued the City of Moscow for their actions against him. Finally, over two years later, a United States District judge has ruled in favor of Rench. The Lancaster County Commissioners recently voted to use over $4M in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for "affordable housing" projects. The $350B in ARPA funds (supported by Democrats and Biden) distributed throughout the United States came after the $2.2T in CARES Act funds (supported by Democrats, Republicans, and Trump). Instead of rejecting this money, Lancaster County accepted it and is now using it for, among other things, government-sponsored housing projects.
