DTS - The Best Watches of the 90's.
Take a dive into our picks from the 1990's. These are some of the under appreciated and nearly vintage watches that deserve a bit more attention. Some are starting to shoot up in value and they are definitely off the beaten track and into the world of different and quirky. Alex cheated and didn't follow the rules which is not surprising.

R&R - What's In A Watchmaker's Drawers?
On this episode of the Rob & The Regulator Show, we have another look in Rob's watchmaker drawers and then talk about how important it is for everyone to follow their dreams, especially when you work in a passionate industry.
Topics
Rob takes the time to explore his watchmaking bench and the treasures that are hidden within. Any watchmaker will be able to tell you that they never throw anything away. For that reason watchmaker's bench are full of junk and treasure. We work drawer by drawer to see what parts, tools, movements and even watches are stored safely in Rob's bench.
Rob and Alex also discuss why it is so important for people to follow their dreams and how both hosts have done just that at various stages of their lives.

DTS - The problem with the Omega Speedmaster
Welcome to the pilot episode of Fifth Wrist Radio.
On this episode of The Defining Time Show, Anthony from @defining_time is joined by Alex @thewatchregulator Alex is the President of fifthwrist.com and a watch technician for the Swatch Group. So he is well placed to be able to discuss the attention grabbing new Ed White 321 reissue chronograph by Omega. We get into the history and legacy of the Speedmaster. Then we begin to break down the costs associated with the new watch and why Alex gives some insight as to why he believes that it might not be worth the money. For a comprehensive guide to the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch consider investing in a copy of the excellent guide Moonwatch Only.
We all talk about the recent heritage release from Longines. This includes how vintage reissues make us feel and why brands are limited in the watches they can produce due to the movements than can use. The history of Lognines is a long and interesting one. Where they stand now in the watch world does not reflect their once exalted position within the world of horology. A great insight into the historically important watches of Longines can be found in the amazing book by vintage watch aficionado John Goldberger called Longines Legendary Watches.
Anthony & Alex both discuss how our tastes have changed over the years and get into what watches started this passion for us and the watches we have collected over the years. Plus Alex puts out a call to action for enthusiasts to start working in the watch industry. He gets into why it is so important for watch brands to employ people who are passionate about the product. We go on to share our favourite recent review from the fifth wrist website and we give our instagram recommendations of people to go and follow.
