Parker and I will discuss the situation in the DSA after the Bowman affair and the loss of nearly 1/5 of the membership since the DSA convention. We may debate the implications of the second international strategy for the DSA, and why people may or may not want to join in. Dr. Harun Yilmaz is Central Asia Research Forum Series academic editor at Routledge Taylor & Francis Group. He is a regional expert on history, national identities, and political propaganda. His academic and popular publications cover Central Asia, Ukraine, and the Caucasus. He received his Master's and Ph.D. from Oxford University. Dr. Yilmaz was a research fellow at Harvard University and Brtish Academy and lectured on the History of the Soviet Union under Stalin at Queen Mary University of London.  He published op-eds for and was interviewed by BBC Azerbaijan, BBC Russia, RFE/RL, Al-Jazeera, NPR, NewsNation.
