New CoreLogic data has found rent in three quarters of Australia's biggest regional areas are now higher than ever – with WA and Queensland topping the list. The biggest increase was in Batemans Bay in NSW rising by around 6 percent in the past three months – which is about $32 extra a week. Former US President Donald Trump was this morning found guilty on 34 charges relating to paying off a porn star.  Trump had sex with Stormy Daniels in a Lake Tahoe hotel room in 2006.  The story emerged in the lead-up to the 2016 election and Trump, through his then lawyer Michael Cohen, paid Daniels $130,000 to kill off the story  Prosecutors in New York brought the charges against Trump – the first time a US president or former president has faced criminal charges – and he was found guilty on all 34 counts.  We’re joined by Professor David Smith from the US Studies Centre at the University of Sydney to find out what’s likely to happen next. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
