In July of 1901, 14-year-old Willie Nickell is found dead near his family’s farm. Residents of southern Wyoming are outraged, but there are very few leads in the case. The investigation begins to focus on Tom Horn, and lawmen will need a creative plan to trap him. Tom Horn and his employer are infuriated by the results of a cattle rustling case. Shortly thereafter, a small rancher is murdered. Then another is murdered. Tom Horn helps recruit a mercenary army on behalf of the cattle barons and they kill two men outside Buffalo, Wyoming. The mercenaries meet their match when the sheriff recruits a posse to oppose the cattle barons. One of the most dangerous jobs in Oklahoma Territory is that of a U.S. Marshal.
