Episode with Alexis Ohanian (Co-Founder of Reddit and 776 Fund)

In this episode, I chatted with one of my tech heroes Alexis Ohanian (Co-Founder of Reddit and 776 Fund). After his iconic time at Reddit, Alexis became a full-time investor with a portfolio that consists of 9 decacorns (startups worth $10B) and 25 unicorns (worth $1B). In this episode, we talk about the power of building in public, Alexis' own Twitter strategy, how he encourages his portfolio founders to share their journey and be vulnerable. Alexis also discussed why he's excited about web 3.0,  how Reddit would have looked like if it was born today, and the positive effects that occur when more dads openly discuss their fatherhood highs and lows. Alexis was an insanely graceful host and I truly enjoyed diving into these topics that are close to my heart. I hope y'all like the episode!

Episode with Ish Baid (Founder & CEO of Virtually)

In this episode, I chatted with Ish Baid, Co-Founder and CEO of Virtually. Virtually is a startup building the easiest way to manage Zoom events for online communities. They were part of the Y Combinator Summer 2020 batch and have recently raised $1.75m in funding from top funds like Tiger Global recently. In this episode, we talk about evolution of online education from MOOCs to Cohort-based-courses (CBCs), the inevitable crests and troughs within new technology trends, the origin story of Virtually and how Ish quit his job at Facebook to work on this idea, why this mission is so personal to him based on his family background and much more. I'm a huge fan of Ish and his story. I had a blast in this episode and hope you like it too! Episode 11 with Ruben Harris (Co-Founder & CEO of Career Karma)

In this episode, I chatted with a truly special guest who has been a shining example of the philosophy of building in public for years. Ruben Harris is the co-founder and CEO of Career Karma, a platform that helps people find a job training program online to break into the tech industry. Previously, he was the founder and a co-host of the very popular podcast "Breaking Into Startups" and Ruben is a Bay Area transplant from Atlanta, Georgia (where I live now). I've been following his story for a while on Twitter, Instagram, and on podcasts so this interview was years in the making. In this authentic and inspiring chat, we covered several topics like starting mission-driven startups, why every company is a media company and why founders should tell their stories directly themselves by building in public, his Atlanta memories, NBA icons, and more. I had a blast chatting with him and hope you enjoy this!
