With the band he has toured the world, sold 38 million records and won a Grammy. Drew Fortier was the guitar player in Bang Tango and also made a great documentary of the band called “Attack of Life.” Together David and Drew have a few new projects in the works. Episode 77- Vinnie Dombroski of Sponge! In this interview I discuss Vinnie’s whole career. He grew up in Detroit and started out playing the drums. He eventually switched to singing and formed Sponge. The band’s debut album Rotting Piñata went gold and spawned 3 singles on rock radio including “Plowed” and “Molly (16 Candles Down The Drain).” The band went on to make a lot more great music and has a new album coming out soon.
