We’ve been chatting this morning about Storm Éowyn and how strong it will be and how long it will last. Government leaders have accused the opposition of engaging in a "subversion of the Constitution" after the Dáil failed to elect a Taoiseach yesterday for the first time in over 100 years. We get more reaction on yesterday's events in the Dáil with Mairéad Farrell Sinn Féin TD for Galway West. 

Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald has accused the government of trying to “ride roughshod over the collective opposition” and said they would be “failing the democratic process” if they did not take a firm stance on the row over opposition speaking time.  We get reaction to the chaos in the Dáil yesterday Dara Calleary Minister for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation.  

On Newstalk Breakfast recently, we heard about a broken and vandalised three story temporary unsafe stairwell and lift, linking Clongriffin Dart Station and Baldoyle in Dublin. Since we reported on it the lift has been fixed but the antisocial behavior continues. Henry McKean went to take a closer look. He sent this report.

And has left many people wondering what Mark Zuckerberg is planning next for his company. Road safety campaigners have urged Google to remove satnav alerts for random garda speed traps and checkpoints to ensure reckless drivers are detected. We spoke to Oliver Moran, Green Party Councillor for Cork City North-East.A google spokesperson has sent us this following statement.“Safety is a top priority for Google and our features comply with local laws.
