Our Second Episode of the 'Talking With Teachers Podcast' features Dr. Ali Ataie. Dr. Ataie is a scholar of biblical hermeneutics with field specialties in Sacred Languages, Comparative Theology, and Comparative Literature. At Zaytuna College, Dr. Ataie has taught Arabic, Creedal Theology, Comparative Theology, Sciences of the Quran, Introduction to the Qur’an, and Seminal Ancient Texts.
In this fascinating podcast, Dr. Ataie talks about his early development as a Muslim and his formative years as a debater with Christians over the meanings and concepts in Christian theology. Dr. Ataie also provides insights from his Ph.D. thesis, titled “Authenticating the Johannine Injil: Muslim ‘Polemirenic’ Interpretive Approaches to the Gospel of John,” where he explores the authenticity of the Gospel of Johnabouto the Prophet Jesus (alaihi salam)

This is the first episode of our new podcast, ' Talking With Teachers,' with Dr. Abdullah bin Hamid Ali. In this podcast, we will speak to English-speaking scholars and teachers of the Islamic tradition. Looking closely at their insights, influences, and understandings of our Islamic intellectual tradition. We begin this podcast with Dr. Haifaa Younis.
Dr. Haifaa Younis is an American Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and the founder and Chairman of Jannah Institute. Dr. Haifaa graduated from the Mecca Institute of Islamic Studies in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and completed memorizing the Qur'an at Al-Huda Qur’an Memorization School in Jeddah. She is passionate about spreading the word of Allah (swt) and igniting the love of Islam and the Qur’an through her teachings
She teaches seminars on the thematic commentary of various chapters of the Holy Qur’an and their practical relevance in our day-to-day living.
