Fire service and its support has been a large discussion in the state as of late, with some areas growing and thus needing more fire service and residents not wanting to self-elect to increase their taxes. Col. Bill Gardiner is the Director of Idaho State Police and came in to discuss the executive order from Gov. Brad Little regarding working with ICE in Idaho to remove illegal aliens. Idaho State Police has since helped transport dozens of violent criminals who were in this country illegally from Idaho prisons to be deported.
