Dr. Parker Fillmore is a physician living in the Treasure Valley that came into a lawsuit with one of the major medical systems in the area. This resulted in Parker not practicing in the Treasure Valley and instead being forced to live here but offer his skills elsewhere. We talked extensively about some of the realities of the physician shortage in Idaho and how the medical systems are leaning more towards business decisions and not community health decisions, leaving all of us residents at a loss for service.
