Mat has been healed for the time being, but cannot be separated from the dagger. We talk about his lost memories, how they're filled back up, his luck, and how we think that works and came to be. We talk about a silent mutual understanding that passes between Loial and Moiraine, what wasn't said out loud, and how much of WhiteTower politics Loial already understands. A little on how Egwene and Rand constantly misunderstand each other and when the Tuatha'an learned the Treesinging songs from the Ogier. 'The Song' is likely a metaphor. Moiraine learns about the boys' dreams, and is visibly worried, although Perrin already has protection. Moiraine plans the party's next move, through the ways and past the horror of Machin Shin. Rand has sprinted all the way back to The Queens Blessing, which is still being watched by white cockaded street toughs. We talk about how domestic animals react to, and seem to be able to sense when the One Power is channeled, or maybe just the channelers themselves. Rand relays his story, Master Gil is in disbelief, but Loial has already come to a conclusion. Ta'veren make for good books after all... The Whitecloaks show up at the inn looking for Perrin and Egwene, but back away from the confrontation they've asked for. Moiraine and Lan arrive, with the Emond's Fielders in toe, and we see a cheerful reunion, although Mat is bed ridden, sick with the evil of Shadar Logoth. We talk more about how Darkfriends and Shadowspawn can sense the dagger. Rand is laying on the ground of the palace garden, with his head ringing. Elayne immediaetley has a crush on Rand, and Rand on her in return. We also get to meet a brand new, and large cast of characters, including Queen Morgase, Gareth Bryne, Elayne, Gawyn, Galad, Elaida Sedai, and more. The introduction and subsequent interrogation by Morgase and Elaida scares the hell out of Rand, and he barely makes it out of there with out ending up in prison. Elaida has an important foretelling that we talk about a bit. And unbeknownst to them, all of these newly introduced characters are likely now pulled snugly into Rand's Ta'veren web. Our friend John-Michael joins us again for episode 37.  While Perrin and Egwene have a moment to consider an offer from Child Byar and contemplate their mortality, Lan and Nynaeve have already stolen their way into the Whitecloak's camp to break them free.  Nynaeve rescues Bela and shoots first, signaling Moiraine to create the larger distraction.  Lan demonstrates how Whitecloaks fair in a fight against warder.  Without even drawing his sword he frees the Emond's Fielders, and they make their way back to Moiraine. Rand and Mat arrive in Caemlyn. They quickly get mired in politics when Rand wraps his sword with Pro-Morgase cloth. We speculate on the cause of the discontentment in Caemlyn. In this two-chapter episode, Rand suffers the symptoms of channeling sickness. This is why the timeline at this point in the book is totally out of whack - it's all viewed from Rand's perspective.  Don't worry! We'll lay out the sequence of events in order.  Rand watches Gode burned alive in a dream. The boys hitch rides on wagons, until they run into Paitr, the second Darkfriend on the trip. during a confrontatipon, Rand punches Paitr in the face, and the boys run on to the next town where Rand becomes so sick he passes out. As he recovers in a barn, Mili Skane, an assassin greets them.  Mat stops Mili from murdering Rand, and nearly kills her process. They lock her in the barn, and run.
