[Below 14th Street] WHY FOLLOWERS DON'T MATTER: A LESSON IN MARKETING & TAKING RISKS IN BUSINESS
In this episode of Below 14th Street, I share a personal story that taught me a valuable lesson in business. I was tasked with growing a new department for a brand, and I decided to do things my own way. Instead of paying massive macro influencers, I went to top and bottom performing markets and gave 200-500 people in each market $5,000 to post about the product for a specific weekend. The result was a massive ripple effect of sales nationwide and a top-selling product. Creating chatter in a small way around a lot of people is important and that followers don't mean anything in terms of sales. Sometimes, you have to take calculated risks. Listen to this episode for more insights and inspiration to take risks in your own business!

I share personal anecdotes and observations to remind listeners that these challenges are a normal part of any career and should not be used as an excuse to quit entrepreneurship. [Below 14th Street] HOW I GOT TO BE THE PERSON WHO CHOSE OLIVIA POPE'S BAGS ON SCANDAL
In this episode of Below 14th Street, I talk about one of my past jobs as a junior level associate at Prada and how my role involved selecting the bags used by Kerry Washington's character on Scandal. It may sound simple, but it was a complex job that required a lot of research and analysis to ensure that the bags not only looked great on the show, but also drove sales in different areas. I also touch on the unique culture of working at Prada, including having to take an Excel test as part of the hiring process. And of course, I share some fun anecdotes about my time working there, including how we had the whole building to ourselves and a cafeteria with delicious, affordable food.
If you're a fan of the fashion industry or just love hearing about behind-the-scenes stories, you won't want to miss this episode.
As always, don't forget to leave a review and share with your friends. Thanks for listening!

AMY MCNABB ON CONFIDENCE, BALANCE, AND MINDSET TIPS FOR ENTREPRENEURS
In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing personal development coach and actor, Amy McNabb. We have worked together for the past 2 and a half years, and I have even invited her to be a speaker at the RoundTable with Team AP. We discussed the emotional challenges that come with success, and how to overcome them with resilience and confidence. Amy shared her insights on building a life that supports your entrepreneurial ventures, and the importance of surrounding yourself with a community that uplifts and celebrates your wins. We also talked about the societal pressure to downplay our own happiness and success, and how to break free from that mindset. [Below 14th Street] HOW THE SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE EDITOR IN CHIEF CHANGED MY ENTIRE LIFE
This week's story from Below 14th Street is a heartfelt one that I think you'll really enjoy. It's a testament to the power of our words, especially to future generations. I'm talking about a very special story about a letter I wrote to the editor-in-chief of Seventeen Magazine when I was just 11 years old that changed my life and taught me the importance of believing in myself and chasing my dreams. It gave me permission to dream bigger than my circumstances, and sometimes, that's all you need. It's a story that I hope will inspire you to never give up on your dreams, no matter how big they may seem.
