Nicole Paggi is an actress whose career has spanned drama, sitcoms, and daytime television. Nicole began her journey just outside Austin, Texas, later training in both Los Angeles and New York while earning her degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Texas State University. She broke out early with roles on the Fox drama Pasadena, followed by her turn as Sydney Shanowski on the ABC comedy Hope & Faith, and later as Sara Crawford on the UPN sitcom One on One. Nancy Salzman, former president of Executive Success Programs (ESP)—a company offering personal and professional development programs designed to help people discover, develop, and utilize more of their untapped potential—joins Kate for the first of a two-part conversation. In 1998, she and Keith Raniere co-founded ESP, which Raniere later expanded into the broader umbrella organization NXIVM. He presented NXIVM as an elite self-improvement and leadership training company, but it ultimately became a vehicle for manipulation, coercive control, and the secretive subgroup DOS that led to his federal conviction.
