Wisdom From a Broken-Open Hearted Warrior A Conversation with Andrea Ivanka

My guest on the podcast today is Andrea Ivanka, a deep, wise, and extraordinary women’s business coach and mentor.  For over a decade, she has helped female leaders and entrepreneurs unlock their potential so they can build their best businesses and live their best lives. Andrea is a second generation Canadian, whose grandparents met in a Ukrainian refugee camp after WWII, fell in love, and migrated to Canada.  With Ukrainian grandparents on both sides of her family, Andrea describes her early life as “growing up in a Ukrainian bubble”, having gone to Ukrainian schools, learned the language, and having been steeped in the culture her entire life. Within 48 hours of the war’s outbreak, Andrea and her community were buying supplies to ship to Ukraine.  With the war still raging, Andrea’s heart has been broken-open and her words and passion have poured forth like “poetry in motion”, as she describes her experience of feeling the deep well of pain and courage of the Ukrainian people. As a business coach and mentor, Andrea helps successful female entrepreneurs lead the way into their next income level with the Total Boss Approach ™, combining aligned energetics with leading edge business strategies that set behavior on autopilot for success as they scale and grow. Living with a Broken Open Heart

In this episode, Judith discusses the war in Ukraine and the impact on all of us as we witness overwhelming human suffering.  How are we to live with and hold an experience like this?  How do we manage our pain in the face of this and other kinds of suffering in the world? The key is not to turn away but to allow ourselves to enter into and be a witness to our pain and in so doing, deepen and expand our capacity for love and compassion for self and others.  We must allow our hearts to break and learn how to live with a broken open heart. Join us as we discover how to navigate the deep waters of life today in The New Beyond.  Reach out and connect with us on the FB page Life Beyond the Box, or connect with Judith at thenewbeyond2022@gmail.com. We’re Not in Kansas Anymore

In this episode, Judith shares her personal journey of “leaving Kansas” and venturing into her own New Beyond.  She shares about her early childhood conditioning, the pain of broken marriages and divorces, the years she spent feeling lost and without direction and finally getting her life on track when she discovered and began doing transformational work. Judith invites listeners to investigate their own stories of change and resistance to it with the following suggestions for reflection: Go back into your personal story and see if you can find the time in your life when you first became aware you couldn’t stay in Kansas anymore. What was not working in your life the way you wanted it to work? What kept you stuck or in resistance at the time?  What were you afraid of? What fears do you still carry today around this topic? What are you currently waiting for before you feel you can take concrete action to make these changes? How much longer do you need to stay where you are? Please share what you discover on my Facebook author’s page, Life Beyond the Box.  Give us a Like, and don’t forget to subscribe and leave a review on your favorite podcast platform.
