A Wisconsin woman is charged with fatally poisoning a disabled friend after stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the victim. Jessy Kurczewski, 37, had reportedly called police to the victim’s Pewaukee home, claiming the woman was not breathing. A Waukesha County deputy who responded to the home found the deceased woman lying in a recliner with a large quantity of crushed-up medication on her chest and on a plate located next to her. An autopsy report revealed that the woman had a fatal concentration of tetrahydrozoline in her system when she died. A teen girl and her teen boyfriend make plans to run away together, but when her dad finds out, he puts a stop to it, or so he thought. Two Nevada teens are now behind bars after police say they murdered Daniel Halseth and set his body on fire. According to an arrest warrant, Daniel Halseth’s mother contacted police for a welfare check after she hadn’t heard from him. Halseth’s landlord and a family friend found the 45-year-old burned body inside a garage. Aaron Guerrero, 18, and Sierra Halseth, 16, have been charged. A North Carolina mother accused of killing her then 4-year-old daughter, forced the toddler’s teen sister to help her bury the girl after she died, according to police reports. Charlotte-Mecklenburg County police found the body of Majelic Young in May, but the little girl died months earlier. Majelic’s mother, 31-year-0ld Malikah Dianne Bennett, has been charged with first-degree murder, child abuse, inflicting physical injury, and concealing a death. According to a warrant filed in the case, Majelic’s 13-year-old sister told investigators that the toddler was forced to stand in the laundry room as punishment in August 2020. The girl was not allowed to sit or leave the room for three days — until she was so weak she fell out the back door and her head slammed onto the ground.
