An autopsy is being conducted today on the body believed to be Gabby Petito. This is as authorities in Florida resume their search for Petito’s boyfriend Brian Laundrie. Laundrie’s parents said he was headed into the Carlton Nature Reserve in Sarasota County. The focus this time is on the backside of the reserve. On Sunday, investigators found human remains matching Petito’s description in Bridger-Teton National Forest, weeks after Petito fell out of contact with her family during a cross-country road trip with Laundrie. A day after finding Gabby Petito’s body in a remote Wyoming camping area, the FBI sends agents to Brian Laundrie’s home to execute a search warrant. More than 15 FBI agents entered the home shortly after 10 a.m. as police officers roped off the area around it with crime scene tape. Laundrie's parents were escorted out of the home and into a FBI vehicle during the search. After more than an hour, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie were led back into their house. The search continues for Gabby Petito. The 22-year-old and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, were traveling on a cross-country road trip when Gabby disappeared. Laundrie reportedly returned to his Florida home in the converted camper van the couple had been traveling in, but without Petito. Laundrie has since refused to speak to anyone out his parents and a lawyer about what might have happened to her. Laundrie's sister Cassie said in an interview with Good Morning America that she wished she knew more, Cassie Laundrie says that she has not been able to speak to her brother, but did not specify why. Florida police now say Brian Laundrie, the boyfriend of missing Gabby Petito, is a person of interest in her disappearance. The 22-year-old woman mysteriously vanished while the couple was on a road trip. Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito and Laundrie, 23, embarked on a cross-country road trip this summer, but Laundrie returned to Florida. Petito's whereabouts are unknown.
