Chad Oulson goes on a movie date with his wife. As the film begins, the 43-year-old texts the babysitter. A voice behind him, Curtis Reeves, tells him to stop. Reeves and Oulson get into an argument. and Oulson grabs a bag of popcorn from Reeves and throws it at the man. Reeves, a retired cop, pulls a handgun and fires. Oulson dies after being hit in the chest. Reeves is charged with second-degree murder and aggravated battery, but claims self-defense, telling a jury that he was "in fear of being attacked. The husband of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins says comments made by Rust actor/producer Alec Baldwin makes him angry. Matthew Hutchins spoke out publicly for the first time to the Today Show. Hutchins said he “felt so angry” watching Baldwin claim he was not responsible for the 42-year-old mother’s death.. Halyna Hutchins died on the Santa Fe set of Rust after the gun Baldwin was handling fired a live round, hitting her and the film’s director Joel Souza. He suffered non-fatal injuries. Baldwin said in an ABC interview that he was told the gun was “cold,” meaning it did not contain any live bullets. Matthew Hutchins says he finds the idea that the person holding the gun is not responsible, absurd. An arrest was made in the death of a former politician’s daughter during a home invasion last week. Kentucky State Police spotted suspect Shannon Gilday, 23, walking along Barnes Mill Road near I-75. Gilday is accused of breaking into Welsey Morgan's multi-million dollar home after climbing scaffolding set up for home repairs. Attorney Jordan Morgan, 32, was shot as she slept in bed. The victim’s father reportedly suffered non-lethal injuries after exchanging gunfire with Gilday. Gilday fled the scene in a vehicle. Wesley Morgan has been quoted as saying he believes a “doomsday-style” bunker at their mansion may have made their home a target. Shannon Gilday's mother says her son "has not been of sound mind the last couple of weeks, distraught with the certainty a nuclear war is imminent." Police have not confirmed that motive. The release of autopsy and forensic reports for Brian Laundrie provides an interesting study in forensics. When Laundrie, 23, was found dead of an apparent suicide, police had been searching for him in connection to the death of his girlfriend Gabby Petito. The newly-released documents show that Laundrie’s “skeletal remains and personal effects were in plain sight and scattered upon the dirt ground.” Details also show that the area had been underwater, which could explain why investigators did not discover the remains sooner. The documents strongly indicate Laundrie died quite some time before his body was found, as there was no soft tissue left on the skeleton. There was also indication of animal activity characterized by gnawing and chewing. Investigators reportedly believe that wild dogs, coyotes, and/or vermin were among the animal predators that disturbed the remains. The medical examiner’s report shows that Brian Laundrie killed himself with a single-bullet, which entered his skull on the left side. Anthony Rodriguez is lucky to be alive after a brutal attack left him with a gunshot wound. The Wisconsin waiter was working the overnight shift at a George Webb restaurant in Wauwatosa when two sisters, Bryanna and Breanta Johnson, both 20, and two other women became impatient with their service. When they received their order, the twins complained a hamburger was missing. The situation become volatile and the women were asked to leave. Breanta Johnson walks outside, then returns to the restaurant with a gun, according to an arrest warrant. At some point, Breanta Johnson handed the gun to her sister, who shot Rodriguez in the face. While he was on the floor, the suspects allegedly began kicking the victim in the face. The sisters arrested on charges of attempted homicide. Comedian Bob Saget’s autopsy shows head trauma caused the actor’s death. Saget’s family revealed that officials had “concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep” while on tour. The autopsy shows Saget had fractured his skull which caused bleeding on the brain.A security guard found the 65-year-old “tucked in bed” and unresponsive when his family, hadn’t heard from him and contacted the hotel. Saget’s key card showed that he returned to his room at about 2:20 a.m. Dr. Joshua Stephany, the chief medical examiner of Orange and Osceola counties, attributed Saget’s injuries to a fall.The trauma caused veins in Saget’s brain to rupture, which then caused blood to pool, creating pressure on the hemispheres of the brain. Stephany found no other injuries and ruled the death accidental. The actor had no illegal drugs in his system, but there were signs of prescription drugs used to treat depression and panic attacks.Stephany found no indication that either drug contributed to Saget’s death.
