19-year-old Kaitlin Benjamin-Olsen looks like a typical 19-year-old. She has hazel eyes, strawberry-blond hair and wears glasses, but despite her age and appearance, Kaitlin has the mentality of someone much younger. She is mentally disabled. In the first week of February, Kaitlin and her 21-year-old brother met a man at their local Family Dollar Store in Fayetteville North Carolina. Kaitlin's mother, Lisa Benjamin, says she believes her daughter met the man on Instagram. The only thing Lisa knows about the man is his first name, Chris. It's believed that Kaitlin left her home in the middle of the night, lured from her home. Her mother believes the man made promises to Kaitlin to convince her to leave. Law Enforcement says Kaitlin's phone pinged in Miami on February 7th or February 8th and in Orlando, Florida on February 15th. Todd Mullis calls 911 as he drives his wife to an Iowa hospital. Amy Mullis was found by the couple's 13-year-old son, impaled on a corn rake and does not survive her injuries. An autopsy is completed and the forensic pathologist finds not four puncture wounds in Mullis' back, but six. The corn rake Todd Mullis says his wife fell on, only has four tines. Also, while Mullis told police he had a good relationship with his wife, investigators learn that Amy was apparently unhappy in the marriage and had at least two affairs. She reportedly told a friend that if Mullis caught her he would “throw her to the pigs.” Court documents showed Amy Mullis called a friend petrified and screaming that Todd Mullis had found out about her affair. A rancher finds Gabriel Quintanilla beaten, in a field outside McAllen, Texas. The 42-year-old dies of blunt force trauma to the head. An investigation uncovers a warrant for Quintanilla on charges of continuous sexual assault of a child and assault, family violence. This is after Quintanilla's 9-year-old daughter accuses him of inappropriately touching her.Police said the girl's teen stepbrothers, Christian, and Alejandro Trevino, learn of the accusations and confront Quintanilla, leading to a fight. Quintanilla reportedly then left the area on foot. A second fight occurred when Christian Trevino allegedly chased Quintanilla.At some point, Alejandro Trevino arrived in a car driven by friend Juan Eduardo Melendez, 18. The two other teens reportedly joined in on the attack. Quintanilla was then attacked a third time. Police believe brass knuckles were used. Barbara Maier Gustern was shoved from behind outside her Chelsea residence. Friends found the well-known and beloved voice coach in the apartment lobby covered in blood. A bicyclist spotted the injured 87-year-old on the street and brought her in. Gustern hit her head during the attack and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. She ultimately passed away from her injuries after being placed on life support. Now, a New York woman is facing manslaughter charges. Police released security footage of the incident, which showed Lauren Pazienza reportedly shoving Gustern before running away. Police, also say the suspect returned to watch, as the victim was carried away by ambulance. Police had been looking for Pazienza for weeks when she arrived at the police station Tuesday with her lawyer and turned herself in. Pazienza reportedly hid at her parents’ house. 18-year-old Naomi Irion was last seen on security footage, sitting in her vehicle while waiting for the shuttle she takes to work at Panasonic in the Reno-Sparks area. The footage also shows a man walking from the direction of a homeless camp and lurking among the parked vehicles. Naomi’s brother, Casey Valley, says that security footage seemed to show the suspect saying or doing something that made Naomi move from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat. Irion was in the passenger’s seat as the man drove away. Investigators found Naomi’s blue 1992 Mercury Sable on March 15 at the Fernley industrial park. They said evidence inside the car suggests that a crime was committed. Naomi is described as a white female who stands 5-feet-11-inches tall with green eyes (one eye is green and brown). She has dyed black hair, according to her family, who created a GoFundMe page to help with search costs. In May 1983, Stephen Hynes and fiancee', Catherine Moore, are toasting their engagement with champagne and a cookout on the patio of her apartment. The couple is ambushed by Henry Albert Hamilton and Michael Fortson. Both men are armed with pistols and came through bushes onto the patio, something they had been doing often. In fact, the men had ambushed and robbed three others that night alone. As the men try to force the couple inside, Hynes and Moore run away, but the couple trip. Moore gets up and keeps running but looks back and sees Fortson shoot her fiancee'.
