But never fear, there are still eight or so cases left, meaning eight ways the magat majority on the extreme court can still fuck over the nation. What a week this has been! And it's only Thursday (or as we call it around here, Friday Eve). This has felt like the week that never ends! Jeff Sharlet [http://twitter.com/jeffsharlet]has been alerting the rest of us to the more frightening aspects of the fringes of society for many years and eight books by now. History is being made, for sure. But then there's the question of the people who came out to support the first former president to be indicted and arrested on criminal charges, and the violent rhetoric they're casually threatening the rest of us with.

On Thursday, we learned that Trump had been indicted in the documents case by a grand jury in South Florida! Trump is to appear on Tuesday at the federal courthouse in Miami. Of course, he's pulling out all the stops to incite violence (some things never change). Well, I said there was a chance an indictment would come down yesterday... And sure enough, it did! The 37 counts against Donald Trump (and one against his co-conspirator bring bringing it to 38) were released today -- all 49 pages. And then we heard from Jack Smith himself, for the very first time.  You can and should read the indictment. It'll take 20 minutes but will blow your mind. Thankfully, former Deputy Asst Attorney General in both the Clinton and W Bush administrations Lisa Graves will be here to help us understand exactly what happened -- what Trump is being charged with, what Jack Smith said, what happens next, etc.
