The Nicole Sandler Show
Nicole Sandler
Nicole Sandler has worked in radio her entire adult life. After a successful career in music radio in NY and Los Angeles (WPLJ, KLOS, KSCA and others), she returned to talk radio to host mornings on then-progressive talk WINZ/Miami. After a flip to sports, she moved to Air America Radio for a nightly show. When AAR went off the air on Jan 21, 2010, Nicole Sandler moved online where she continues to question authority daily at nicolesandler.com.

20191129 Nicole Sandler Show - Yes, We're Here on Black Friday Too!
With much of the country taking the day after Thanksgiving as a holiday, I figured I might as well do a show. After all, I'd only be taking a day for myself to relax, clean a bit, watch a movie.. anything but shop. Instead, I thought I'd do something constructive and produce new show for others who are also not shopping today!
As usual, we'll start with a bit of humor and cover the latest news. And perhaps we'll end with an interview. I'll give you the choice... an informative interview about Medicare for All, or a musical interview as we officially enter the holiday season. Join us in one of the chat rooms (here on YouTube or on the website at nicolesandler.com/listen-live) to weigh in...
***Update on the interview - we wound up doing both. The first was with Dr. Steffie Woolhandler, the co-founder of Physicians for a National Health Program who, along with cofounder Dr. David Himmelstein authored an article for The Nation titled "The 'Public Option' on Health Care Is a Poison Pill". [https://www.thenation.com/article/insurance-health-care-medicare/]
And because we could, I ran long today, and shared an interview with (and performance from ) Melissa Etheridge who joined me on the air at WXRV 92.5 The River in Boston back in December of 2003. Enjoy!

20191127 Nicole Sandler Show - The Day Before Thanksgiving with Dave Johnson
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and many of us will be sharing the dinner table with family and others with whom we many not see eye to eye politically. Dave Johnson [http://twitter.com/dcjohnson] joins me with some tips on navigating the holidays with the family. We'll also discuss the great political divide, not only between left and right, but between progressives and ConservaDems, and more.
But first, the latest news... and a conversation with my friend Michele Clark who just happens to be in Malta where there are mass protests calling for the Prime Minister's ouster over the murder of a journalist.

20191122 Nicole Sandler Show - Wrapping Up the Week with GottaLaff and Marcy Wheeler
We made it through another week, including public hearings in the impeachment inquiry and the 5th Democratic primary debate. To help us recap what happened, we're joined by @GottaLaff [http://twitter.com/GottaLaff] (who spent her regular Tuesday time on the show as well as Wed and Thu watching the hearings), and the indefatigable Marcy Wheeler [http://twitter.com/emptywheel], who live Tweeted the hearings and wrote all about them at emptywheel.net [http://emptywheel.net]
