And the president is stoking conspiracy theories and downplaying the seriousness of the virus that's now claimed almost 140,000 lives in the US alone. Today, we welcome Sonia Shah to the show. It's another Tuesday in exile-- covid exile, that is. Laffy is in Southern California, and I'm in Florida, two of the big coronavirus hotspots right now. We're both on the older side, so we're staying safely at home, wondering about the covidiots venturing out mingling germs. I'd normally say it's a good thing there's so much going on to talk about, but I'd prefer sheer boredom over the kind of excitement Trump is bringing to our world. We'll do our best to fill you in on all the news you need to know about today, as Laffy brings us her Tweet Spot.

It's been one hell of a week. Nothing shocking there, as it's been a crazy, fucked-up year so far, so why should this week be any different? Florida, where I live, is one of the ugliest COVID-19 hotspots on the planet right now. It's time to change our elected officials to take the DUH out of FloriDUH. Today, I'll speak with Jen Perelman, who's primarying one of our worst, Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Then we'll speak with and salute the man dubbed the "FOIA Terrorist" by our government, Jason Leopold. He's a senior investigative reporter for BuzzFeed News, and just won a huge victory against the government for holding up documents related to the Roger Stone case and others too.

The Supreme Court finally handed down its final three decisions of the 2019 term, ruling on the fate of Donald Trump's tax returns and financial documents... kind of.
