When AAR went off the air on Jan 21, 2010, Nicole Sandler moved online where she continues to question authority daily at nicolesandler.com.

20211116 Nicole Sandler Show - The Great American Divide
There are three high-profile, racially charged, controversial cases being heard in courtrooms in Georgia, Virginia and Wisconsin. (OK, the Wisconsin case went to the jury this morning, but you get the idea.) All three illustrate the very tense divide splitting the country today. We'll review some of the more disturbing aspects and I'll ask my former Air America colleague and current defense attorney Jack Rice if any of this is normal. Do you have an opinion about any of these trials? The phone lines are open at the top of the show, should you care to weigh in.
** Well, best laid plans and all that . Jack and I crossed our time zone wires, so he'll join us tomorrow. I still went through much of those three cases, so we got that out of the way. Tomorrow, I can just ask Jack all the questions I have for him...

20211115 Nicole Sandler Show - Americans, Heal Thyself
With the US healthcare system and our society both appearing to deteriorate under pressure, we Americans are looking for ways to protect ourselves. That includes finding new, in many cases ancient, forms of healing. We as a nation are broken on so many levels.. In the first part of today's show, I'll run through some of the day's news. There's no way of escaping it right now, but we'll try! We'll veer from the news toward the healing for the second half of the show. We attempted this a couple of weeks ago, we'll do it today. I'm joined by Cassandra Leah Quave, author of "The Plant Hunter: A Scientist's Quest for Nature's Next Medicines"...

20211112 Nicole Sandler Show - Saving Democracy with Brian Klaas
We made it through another week, quite an accomplishment when you consider what's going on in our world these days. This was a particularly ugly week, and the situation seems to get worse week after week. Today I'm thrilled to welcome Brian Klaas to the show. He's a political scientist and professor of global politics at London's University College. He's the author of a few books. The new one "Corruptible: Who Gets Power and How it Changes Us". Boy do we have a strange new reality to talk about today!

20211111 The Nicole Sandler Show - Veterans Day Thursday with Howie Klein
Things are getting stranger and stranger, and it feels like the nation is one simmering pressure cooker. Between the Rittenhouse trial and the trial for the murderers of Ahmaud Arbery going on at the same time the House select committee on 1/6 seems to be kicking into action, and some of the more hardcore of the insurrectionists are finally being sentenced to more than a slap on the wrist, the American right wing seems to be more empowered than ever. And we have an Attorney General who just can't seem to rise to the occasion. That's where Howie Klein and I will start today when he joins in for our regular Thursday afternoon get-together. Where we'll wind up is to be determined...

20211110 Nicole Sandler Show - Harvey J. Kaye Returns ...And Justice for All?
Liberty and Justice for all? Not in 2021, that's for sure. There's a lot going on, so Harvey J Kaye, professor emeritus of Democracy & Justice Studies at UW Green Bay returns today to shoot the political shit. And I'm not above asking him about "the peoples'" quarterback. We really are living in Opposite World...
