20220204 Nicole Sandler Show - A Special 25th Anniversary Salute to a Former Radio Station KSCA

If I had to pick the best years of my radio career, it would be from July 1994 until February 4, 1997. I was part of not only the best radio station I ever worked at, but certainly one of the best period. KSCA fm101.9 signed off the air for good 25 years ago today. I couldn't let the occasion pass without remembering, so come along for the ride! Joining me in this look back are consultant and the guy responsible for us ever being on the air in the first place, consultant Dennis Constantine, personalities Mimi Chen and Anita Gevinson, artists Dan Navarro, Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo Fighters), Angela McCluskey & Paul Cantelon (Wild Colonials) and Peter Himmelman. This episode runs two hours. Following this show, I played the final two hours on the air at KSCA. That'll follow in the next podcast. Enjoy!

20200203 Nicole Sandler Show - Prayer Breakfast Fail & Thursday with Howie Klein

Today is Thursday, so Howie Klein (Down with Tyranny, Blue America PAC) joins in at the bottom of the hour. Lots to talk with him about including the smear campaign being waged against Rep. Marie Newman. But we'll begin today's show by noting that despite separation of church and state was clearly the goal of the founders, today-- 2022-- there's still something call the National Prayer Breakfast every year, and it was today. And this time, it was Joe Biden who I found most offensive... in an event that offends me at every turn. TYT Investigations managing editor Jonathan Larsen has been looking in to The Family and has some interesting news to share at the top of the show.

20220202 Nicole Sandler Show - Russia, CNN and Other Disturbing News

The Pentagon this morning announced its plans to send some 3000 troops to reinforce NATO allies in Eastern Europe as Russia has placed around 100,000 troops along the border of Ukraine. Katrina vanden Heuvel, the publisher of The Nation, has been covering Russia for many years, and she warns in a Washington Post Op-Ed that the crisis is growing more dangerous and more absurd, and that war is unimaginable. She joins me for a conversation about the possibilities. This on a day filled with breaking news, including the sudden resignation of Jeffrey Zucker from his head honcho position at CNN after the network's investigation into Chris Cuomo turned up evidence of an inter-office relationship between Zucker and another executive there. And the Washington football team announced its new name and go figure, they're honoring a member of the Biden family. I'll explain.

20210201 Nicole Sandler Show - February, Florida and other F Words

I know one F word that I've uttered already numerous times today. I've blurted it out in reaction to the latest idiocy from the Floriduh governor and from The Former Guy and others of their ilk. Here's one tweet that really sums it up today, from @AymanM: "-fmr President admits he wanted to overturn election -vows to pardon insurrectionists -incites racism & protests against Black prosecutors -the FBI acknowledges a series of bomb threat around the country -books being banned in schools. Are we still not alarmed?" I am! It's one of those days, so our friend Dave Johnson (seeingtheforest.com) joins me to get mad or get even... or figure out how to turn it all around!

20220131 Nicole Sandler Show - Getting Strzoked

It's a Monday after a really cold weekend. I'm here in South Florida, where the mercury dipped into the 30s. I warned you about falling iguanas, but you didn't want to believe me. Well, the warnings about them made up virtually every newscast all weekend long! Not only did it freeze in Florida, but the Nazi's invaded Orlando. And you'll never believe our "governor'"'s response... or maybe you will. My guest today is former FBI agent Peter Strzok. His book, "Compromised: Counterintelligence and the Threat of Donald J. Trump" is out in paperback, and he joins us today. As you'd imagine, I have lots of questions for him!
