There is No Such Thing as “Big Problems”

All problems are the same size. All that matters is the amount of energy you give each problem. The easiest way to shift your perspective on this is to change the framework of each problem in your life. It may be a little extreme but what if someone told you, “if you don’t solve this in 6 months then you’ll lose your mom.” There would be nothing that would stop me from finding a way to solve the problem. It’s all about framework and energy.Look at every problem, challenge, and resistance you face in your life as something that you didn’t have planned. All it takes is faith to believe that everything will come in the right way at the perfect time.

Stop Manifesting What Other People Want For You

The most common way that faith works is that we place our faith in what we want to manifest in our lives. Just like a credit card, the higher the limit of your faith, the more you can manifest and make into reality. Of course, simply having faith is never enough to get what you want. You need to take the right actions, with the right energy and the right mindset. The less-understood way that faith works comes when we put our faith into what others want for us or things we don’t want for ourselves. What happens when we put our faith in what others want for us is that often if we achieve it, we feel some sort of resentment. There is a massive difference between accomplishing a goal you set for yourself and a goal that others have set for you (or convinced you to set for yourself). Often times, we are limiting ourselves by putting faith in what others want for us. We are also limiting ourselves by putting faith in things that we don’t want in our life.

The #1 Mistake Most People Make “Chasing Happiness”

There is one truth I believe holds true for all entrepreneurs, the reality of achieving your goal, no matter how much effort it takes to reach it, will not make you happy. Michael Jordan said, “Winning isn’t always championships.”Attaching emotional success to achievement or believing that achieving your goals is the path to happiness is what leads to unhappiness.Unfortunately, we tend to attach our happiness as business leaders to the results we achieve. We tell ourselves things phrases like: “Once I get the funding, I’ll be happy.” ”After I land that client, I’ll be happy.” “Once I make my first million dollars, I’ll be happy.” Guess what never comes, even if you achieve those goals? Your happiness.

One Mindset Shift That Will Accelerate Your Success

I hate the word sacrifice. It carries a scarce energy. You don’t sacrifice anything, you invest in yourself. If you don’t invest in yourself, what are you ever going to invest in? If you want to immediately shift your mindset, stop call it a sacrifice and start calling it an investment and see how much different it makes you feel.

The Life Changing Lessons I Learned From Losing Everything

When I experienced bankruptcy for myself, I knew that I had a strong foundation to fall back on: my values. Take inventory of the values (personal, experiential, giving, and receiving) that make you who you are now and then imagine the person you want to become. Build around the values those people have in common. When you start from a strong foundation, whatever your core values may be, you will have to find people to help drive you forward in your goals. Having a set of principles and standards will attract the right people around you, and it will also empower you to cut ties with associates who aren’t a great fit. It will prepare you to foster beneficial relationships with family, friends, business associates, and even develop mentoring relationships. We must not only think, say, and do the right things to attract the right people. We must also believe the right things and even carry the right energy. This can happen only if we incorporate our values into every aspect of our life and business. If we want to live a grateful life for example, we cannot only think grateful thoughts. We must take grateful action as well, show this gratitude for ourselves and others consistently and with persistence.
