The Tragic Cost Of 'Soft-On-Crime' Policies
A string of recent high-profile crimes have caught the attention of lawmakers in Congress, with some calling for stricter laws to crack down on career criminals, and prevent their recidivism. The father of 22-year-old Logan Federico, an aspiring teacher who was murdered during a burglary in South Carolina, discovered his daughter's killer had a long violent history and should have been locked up years ago. He shared that story during a House Judiciary hearing. New Jersey Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew joins the Rundown to break down the need for Congress to create stricter policies to keep dangerous criminals off the streets of major U.S. cities.
President Trump plans to deploy additional National Guard troops, this time to Portland, Oregon, as he continues his crackdown on crime. The President is also targeting Antifa, declaring the far-left group a domestic terror organization. Gabriel Nadales, a former Antifa activist, joins the Rundown to discuss why he ultimately left the movement, why he believes it should be defined as a terrorist organization, and how he thinks the Department of Justice will pursue and charge members of Antifa-affiliated groups.
Plus, commentary from the host of “Tomi Lahren is Fearless" on Outkick, Tomi Lahren.
