: U.S. lawmakers and residents from from New Jersey are both frustrated over dozens of reports of drones being flown over homes and sensitive sights like a military research facility. The sightings of very large drones, larger than the size of a hobbyist drone, have been going on for several weeks. Authorities, including military officials, say these drones do not represent a danger but other officials are calling on federal agencies to immediately help address and investigate the situation. Daniel Penny has been found ‘not guilty’ of criminally negligent homicide against Jordan Neely, after the courts dismissed the charge of manslaughter. The verdict reached on Monday puts to rest the criminal case against former Marine Daniel Penny, who now will face a civil suit for his actions in subduing Neely on a New York City subway last year. Syrian rebels, over the weekend, seized the capital Damascus and forced President Bashar al-Assad to flee to Russia. It ends thirteen years of civil war and more than fifty years of the al-Assad family's brutal reign. The lightening military advance by rebels was led by a former al-Qaeda affiliate which has caused a huge change in the region and has lessened the influence of Iran and Russia.
