Ukraine Peace Talks At Standstill Following Contentious Oval Office Meeting

Tempers flared last Friday in the Oval Office as President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy got into a heated exchange as President Zelenskyy asked for security assurances following any end to the war with Russia in a meeting that was supposed to also announce the signing of a rare earth minerals deal between the United States and Ukraine. After the meeting, President Zelenskyy left the White House without signing the deal, leaving peace talks in the region in question, as well as further support from the United States. Congressman Mike Turner (R-OH) joins the FOX News Rundown to discuss his reaction to the contentious meeting, how he sees a peace deal coming together between Ukraine and Russia, and why he believes only President Trump has the power to broker the deal. This Friday Americans will receive the latest jobs report, as inflation and economic uncertainty persists. President Trump has been adamant that his administration will work to bring down prices, through energy and tax plan initiatives. Worries still remain, one being the strength of the job market. Independent Economist and a LinkedIn top voice in Economics, Aaron Terrazas joins the Rundown to discuss the lasting impacts that the coronavirus pandemic had on the labor force, what economic indicators Americans should look at to assess the strength of the markets, and what shifts might be coming to the workforce. Plus, commentary from FOX News Legal Analyst Gregg Jarrett. (Image Via AP) Learn more about your ad choices. Extra: "Debanking" And The Future Of The Cannabis Industry

It's been 29 years since California became the first state to legalize marijuana for medical use and just 13 years since Colorado and Washington legalized recreational use for adults.Since then, it has become legal in some form in 39 states and Washington D.C..But despite being a legitimate multibillion dollar industry, marijuana is still illegal under federal law, making cannabis companies unable to use the federal banking system and reliant on cash. Therefore, it remains challenging for businesses operating legally in their state to use the federal banking system, and they must operate primarily in cash.Kyle Sherman, the founder and CEO of Flowhub, recently spoke with Chris Foster of Fox News Rundown about why Congress needs to update marijuana and banking laws and why working primarily in cash is terrible for both industry and the government.Sherman also discusses the state of the marijuana business, whether it has expanded too fast in some places, and where it's possibly going. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview.Today on Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with Flowhub CEO Kyle Sherman, allowing you to hear more about the growing marijuana industry and its challenges going forward.
