The Failures Of The Secret Service

Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe Jr. testified before the Senate on Tuesday, saying he could not defend why the roof in Butler, Pennsylvania, was not secure during former President Donald Trump's July 13th rally where he was nearly assassinated. His testimony comes a week after Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned following a House hearing where she was grilled over the agency's failures. Former Navy Seal and Arizona Congressman Eli Crane (R-AZ) joins to discuss his two visits to the rally location, why he thinks this security failure is not the first, and why law enforcement needs more accountability.Former President Trump’s campaign has unveiled its first ad against Vice President Harris, buying up ad time in several 2024 swing states. The latest Fox News polls have the two presidential candidates now tied in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Republican strategist at Axiom Strategies and former Trump 2020 Press Communications Director Erin Perrine says Harris’ newfound favorability could be short-lived once the Trump campaign starts to define her. Erin joins to explain why she believes former President Trump can easily define Vice President Harris as a candidate by her failures on the border, her extremely liberal policy record, and her perceived untrustworthiness as a politician.Plus, commentary by Jason Rantz, host of “The Jason Rantz Show” and author of "What's Killing America."Photo Credit: AP Learn more about your ad choices. Extra: The GOP's Battle For The Buckeye State

Thanks to a favorable map and several Democrats being forced to run for reelection in Red states, Republicans are optimistic about winning back the Senate this November. However, one key to achieving that goal is to flip Democrat Sherrod Brown’s seat in Ohio. Bernie Moreno, the Republican challenging Senator Brown, recently joined FOX News Rundown host Dave Anthony to discuss the race and the Republicans' hopes of gaining a majority in the Senate. Moreno discussed his poll numbers, the issues he thinks voters care about, and whether he thinks Vice President Kamala Harris's replacing President Joe Biden at the top of the ticket will impact down-ballot races. The Colombian-American businessman also explained why he got into politics and how former President Trump has inspired him. The conversation was long, and we could not include all of it in our original FOX News Rundown segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, we bring you our entire conversation with Ohio Senate Republican nominee Bernie Moreno, and you can hear more about this high-stakes race in the Buckeye State.  Learn more about your ad choices.
