Evening Edition: Israel Preemptively Strikes Hezbollah Rocket Launch Sites
The Israel Defense Force over the weekend detected Hezbollah was preparing to launch another barrage of rockets at them from Lebanon so they preemptively fired on those launch positions. Israel says about one hundred war planes targeted thousands of launch sites with 90-percent of the launch sites in civilian areas. Hezbollah did trade fire but both sides did stop assaults as fears rose again of a broader war.
