"It's not easy being the Barbra Streisand of Evil." February calls for a little romance and we have some for you...in the form of Satan in heels! That's right, we're talking about all things Bedazzled (2000), which stars none other than Elizabeth Hurley as the divalicious Devil, the luscious Lucifer, the stylish Satan! And a dorkalicious Brendan Fraser as the poor lad who sells his soul to her in exchange to date the woman of his dreams. But wait til you see the 'fits Elizabeth Hurley wears! Donnie Darko (2001)

For the last episode of Drewcember and this podcast season, we're doing something a little different and picking a movie where Drew isn't the lead: Donnie Darko! The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a sleepwalking '80s teen who has visions of a scary rabbit man named Frank who tells him that the world will end in 28 days. Drew plays his teacher and her company, Flower Films, produced the film. Costumes were by April Ferry, who did Game of Thrones, Big Trouble in Little China, Jurassic World, the OG Child's Play, and so much more. There isn't a ton to discuss for costumes and looks but we spot a few gems! Now, if you were alive when this movie came out, you probably remember how much of a mindf*** this was...and its cool and mysterious website companion. We'll be back in February! In the meantime, follow us on Instagram at @fishnetflixpod and TikTok @fishnetflix. DM or email your movie requests at info@fishnetflix.com! Stephen King's Cat's Eye (1985)

For this week's Drewcember episode, the incredibly talented and hilarious writer, author, and co-host of I Saw What You Did Pod's Danielle Henderson joins us for a real '80s throwback…Stephen King's Cat's Eye! Now listen…the costumes (which were by Clifford Capone) are no Ever After, but we do find some sartorial gems, like sleazy Donald Duck t-shirts and fancy robes. We also discuss how the troll in this movie has traumatized for decades, what kind of McDonald's meal we'd have if we had our own Mariah menu, Marie and Danielle's Rookie mag days, hot zaddies Clive Owen and Steve Guttenberg, Cabbage Patch Kids, and so much more. Plus, Blaire regales us with tales of demonic cats. It's a good time! Follow Danielle on Instagram @daniellehenderson and listen and subscribe to I Saw What You Did Pod! 50 First Dates (2004)

Drewcember continues with 50 First Dates, which stars our queen Drew Barrymore as an amnesiac living in her own personal Groundhog's Day who falls in love with ladies man Adam Sandler. Costumes are by Clare Hallworth and Ellen Lutter, but as you can guess, any standout looks are few and far between. Still, we have a good time chatting about mesh tops, "dresses over jeans," the Paul Rudd/Wilford Brimley meme, and movies that make Blaire "internally uncomfortable." Question: Is 50 First Dates low-key a super sad film? Also, Marie makes a vow not to buy new clothes — or specifically, not to shop from SHEIN — in 2022. Sliver With Abbey Bender

Raise your hand if you remember a lil ol' movie from 1993 called Sliver. It starred Sharon Stone, fresh off the success of Basic Instinct, and Billy "William" Baldwin as a successful book editor and a trust fund f**kboi lurker who begin a torrid love affair when they meet as neighbors in a NYC high rise. There's murder, voyeurism, a Pearl Jam mention, and FASHION! We enlisted the brilliant film and fashion writer (and erotic thriller expert!), Abbey Bender, to join us for the episode to talk about Stone's KILLER looks, which were costumed by Deborah Lynn Scott (who won an Oscar for Titanic and did Avatar, Back to the Future, Who's That Girl and so much more). So put on some UB40 and join us for this wild, voyeuristic ride. Follow Abbey on Instagram, Twitter, and read her work at abbeybender.com. For visuals of the costumes, follow us on Instagram at @fishnetflixpod DM or email your movie requests at info@fishnetflix.com! Don't forget to rate, subscribe, and leave a review on iTunes!
