Run Culture Podcast- Episode 3- David McNeill
Today I chat to David McNeill, 1 week after winning the 2019 Mens Open Australian 10km XC championships in Wollongong! The win bookmarks another great comeback from injury for the dual Olympian. Today, David was incredibly generous with his time, the chat goes for just on an hour. We discuss a range of topics, including; the injury he has come back from, how he has done it, his new wholistic approach to training, his goals for 2020. He even divulges his favourite coffee retreats in Melbourne and Portland, bring the coffee connoisseur he is. David was 16th at the Rio Olympics and has a 5k PB of 13:18 and 10km PB of 27:45. This aside, he is such a humble champion and friendly soul. He is in his final yr of his physiotherapy degree and is incredibly knowledgeable as you will soon finds out about all things sports medicine! He is quite the philosophical thinker and there are just so many ‘pearls of wisdom’ in this interview! So, I encourage as many runners as possible to listen to this one!

Run Culture Podcast- episode 1 Jesse Dunsmore
Welcome to the first episode of the Run Culture Podcast! After 60 odd running related blogs over the past 12 months I’ve decided to try my hand at this podcast thing! I will continue my blog as I do enjoy writing however podcasts are certainly a more time efficient means for me to create content and are far easier for subscribers to readily consume! In this podcast over the next 12 months I plan to follow the running careers of a few athletes I coach (the Run culture owls), as well as several running friends. The podcast will cover the ups and downs of a half dozen athletes, which I’m sure will be as equally inspiring as it is educational! I also plan to chat to a few fellow running physios about all things running injuries! The idea of this podcast will likely evolve and change with time. Anyway, I have really been enjoying these chats I have had so far, they are very rough to start but I am new to this, the product will become more polished with time! I hope this running podcast becomes a regular on your drivetime or easy run listening rotation!
