How to critically reflect on big topics. Always with a suggested reading list. I do the research and join the dots in my Sigma INFJ mode so you don’t need to do all the work. Episode 206: We rarely reward people who don’t compromise
Why I admire John Lewis and Dr Jane Goodall so much. The idea of being 'in this world but not of it' as spoken about John Lewis. Reading others, questioning your work but not yourself and your true Core. Working with others to reach a place of true equality and support. the cloak of compromise we vail our Core with. John Lewis quote used: “You are a light. You are the light. Never let anyone—any person or any force—dampen, dim or diminish your light. Study the path of others to make your way easier and more abundant. Lean toward the whispers of your own heart, discover the universal truth, and follow its dictates.”*sorry one day I will find a chair which doesn't 'click' in the podcast!

Episode 204: The un-nameable podcast
I have recorded the intro to this podcast 3 times as I have messed up 3 times in new ever-increasing ways! I used the word 'minority' originally which is accurate in an Irish context. The challenge with our own frame of reference. Then I made it worse. And now I don't know what to call it.Why the pain as a white person not being able to read and write in school does not have the same generational patterns as it does for a student who is not white. Understanding how having a core gives you security but also the knowledge to know where your pain stops and someone else starts. How this prevents polarisation.

Episode 201: The power of the individual - how people grow like trees
Why we need the elder tress to protect the young saplings and encourage their growth to their true possibility. Quotes used: Post Of Gloria Steinem (Instagram) "...change always grows from the bottom up, like a tree, not from the top down. So look at each other, trust what you know is right - and keep going!"Now Is The Time To Open Your Heart - Alice Walker".. the young trees coming up had no shade to protect them from the blistering sun that backed the earth to ash. They were as brittle as matchsticks and unable to grow tall. They would never know the grandeur of the parents and grandparents who proceeded them. How would they ever guess what their true nature was?" The Hidden Life Of Trees - Peter Wohlleben

Episode 199 Representative, politician or businessman - Thoughts on the final presidential election debate
A master class on why business people can't create humanity or have the patience for change - proper change. I quote John Lewis book 'Across That Bridge' and Martin Luther King Jr. - "I guess one of the great agonies of life is that we are constantly trying to finish that which is unfinishable." from his "Unfulfilled Dreams Speech"
