I keep asking this question - why? Why are teens moving as packs?  Seeking safety in numbers? Why carry knives? Fear then we ask the question why are they fearful? Then I look at the trajectory of what we have been presenting in real time to them online - with all the lies that make every civics and social studies class a complete lie.   

Who do we hold accountable for the distress we have seen on the streets? For the waves of online bullying? How do we decide who's children should die? How do we expect there to be a moral sanity as 'normal' in these contradictions?

What stands in the way of the 1st Black Woman President? The only people you are hurting by not voting for a Black Woman now are those who believe in unity and hope. The Black people in your life, past and present, who have fought for this change.

A podcast I put out on my subscription space at the beginning of JulyHow can we change the cycle where even those who have experienced such trauma are prepared to pass this on to 'others'? I think by talking about the pain they inflict on those close ... not those who they have been trained to de-humanise  

I've been trying to find a system - find a visual for what I know inside .. to debunk the lies I see posted and sold in the world all around me - all that I can feel is just wrong - and I know doesn't fit for 20% of the population who gravitate to my door for support  I know I'm on the right track when once I start talking about what I know at a soul level and I start to jar with those I'm speaking with ...  it's like yes here is another alien 101 moment!      

We will never have inclusive education if we can't accept differences - we need to stop feeling there is something wrong with our children. We need to feel empowered to support the gifts our children have, not the failings we are told they do.
